kubota L5030 prices in New Hampshire

been lurking long enough - it's time to buy that tractor!

i am pricing out L5030s (cab) in NH. here's what i'm looking for:

- Kubota L5030 HSTC (with cab), AMXR8860A 9.5x16, AMXR 8857 14.9x26 R1 AG (loaded)

- LA853 loader with L2223A hyd value, L2232A coupler, with L2240 72" HD bucket

- L8305 and L8303 hdy remote

- L8443 A work lights

- L8446A rear wiper

- L8332 radio mtg

- E9276 am/fm/weather/CD radio

- Woods BH9000 9 foot backhoe with 18" bucket, hose kit and subframe mount

have quotes from Pinnacleview (walpole):

$42,150

the question i have is:

should i check MB (tilton) and Chappell (wilton) for a better price?

any advice appreciated.

You can check with those dealers . It will verify that you have the best price for this area. If you want to do a little better but at the cost of using a dealer 3.5 hours away call Emerich sales and ask for Jim Crane, telephone number 518-399-8574. Emerich might be a bit lower on the price. I understand that there is a pretty competitive dealer north of Keene, in Westmoreland I think.

By all means contact the other 3 dealers mentioned. I will wager that Chappell in Milford will give you the best New Hampshire price.

You should get a breakdown of the individual prices for the tractor, BH, radio, and other accessories. The base list price for the tractor and accessories less BH and radio is almost $37000. The radio they are quoting is probably way overpriced since they are ordering it from the parts dept. A good discount would be 15% or more off base list price.

I agree with what was said above. Talk to all three. Also give Emerich a call. I started out looking for a Kubota and they were great.

Chappell is in Milford, the Brentwood office only has NH.

My bet is MB will come in the most.

The A/C on the Kubota L series cab tractors have had several concerns in posts on this site. I test drove one on a hot summer day and changed my mind about which brand to buy because of the A/C. Smallest A/C compressor I've ever seen. You might ask the dealers if the problem has been admitted or addressed in the last year or two. Otherwise, a very nice tractor.

Asking is free....... go for it and try every dealer around. What do you have to loose. Let us know what you find for others future reference. It will be interesting to find who has the best price in NH. Don't forget to get the cost on "freebies" that Pinnacleview might be throwing into the deal for you such as filling tires with Beet Juice, etc. This free stuff sometimes is the deal maker or deal breaker.

Sounds like a nice set up. Prices from a few other dealers in New Hampshire may give you some bargaining power with your local dealer. What I found when buying my NH TC40D is that the prices between dealers were all within a thousand dollars or so. However, a good dealer is sometimes worth a premium.
