On the right side where the hood ends at the dash panel. There is a rubber hose and it had to be removed to split the tractor. Check the clamps and cracks in the hose, You must be sucking air into the system, that hose is known to crack.

So far, I think you hit the nail on the head. The dealer reported that on that model that hose was known to crack and let air into the system. They're coming Friday to fix/replace the hose.

And the award goes too....@leejohn!!
They came today and left about 19 minutes later after replacing that short hose! The tech said, that those hoses swell up and crack where they go over the pipe coming from the sump (or whatever you call it). I hope they do the right thing and not charge me for the service trip. Mission accomplished. Happy camper.

They charged me for the hose, which they would have done anyway had they replaced it in the shop. But no labor for the trip to do it. All fixed. I'm happy.
