/ Kubota L6060 and New Holland Workmaster 75 comparison questions (not a help me choose/buy thread)
#1
Hello,
I have an L6060 and I also got to spend a few hours in the seat of a Workmaster 75 with the power shuttle transmission today. I love the L6060 and also enjoyed the Workmaster very much. I like learning as much as I can so I am posting here.
I realize the Workmaster seems to be in a whole different class of tractor based on my experience and I have a few questions:
I noticed that the bucket/loader hydraulics on the Workmaster were much smoother (is that the right word? faster? less "effort"?) than the L6060 - is that because its implement hydraulic flow is 12.6 vs the L6060's 9.4? Or is there a different reason?
I also noticed much better bucket visibility with the New Holland - I presume their loader is longer to give better visibility from the operator seat?
The New Holland has a clutch with a steering column forward/reverse power shuttle lever - I prefer'd the L6060's "clutch-less from the operator's perspective" foot pedal for forward/reverse. A very different experience with regard to rolling after depressing the clutch and driving in general. I imagine many prefer the experience of the new holland. Is someone able to explain the benefits of that style hydrostatic+operator clutch?
Thank you
