Kubota MX4700
I purchased a new MX4700 this past November. When I took delivery I had a lot of stuff going on and had no time to check it over. I was sick and out of work for a month and have only put around six hours on the machine driving around my land and removing snow from my driveway. I noticed on paved driveways and on the concrete floor in my garage that when the loader bucket is on the floor that the left side of the loader is over a inch of the ground when the right side is touching! To scrape my driveway I have to pressure down and then the bucket digs in on the right side. Also the quick attach bucket downt like to latch on the right hand side. The lever will not fold down all the way some times when switching between the bucket and pallet forks. Is there a possibility the loader is bent, or could this be from un-even air pressure in the tires, or could ther be a problem with my bucket? The dealer told me to grind the quick tac. Latch so it will lock on the right side of the bucket easier but for $40k I should not have to take a grinder to it.

I have only used it to move several pallets and snow so far, I can't wait for spring so I can actually use the tractor as I up graded from a B2620 to the mx4700.

I purchased the MX4700, loader with/ quick attach bucket and HD forks, Backhoe with quick attach bucket and hydrolic thumb, and a 84" 3pt Land Pride rear discharge finish mower and industrial tires and grill gaurd.

Will do just been so cold this winter. The weather is starting to break and figured I would do that first then sense I have not taken the loader off yet I would do that and make sure nothing is count in there too. Just want o see if anyone else had this happen.

If it isn't in the tires park your tractor on your level concrete. Then use a long enough level or a straight 2x4 with a level on it, and start going down your loader frame and figure out where the problem starts then take that information into your dealer and get some satisfaction. I would not grind on the SSQA tabs until you know for a fact that is where the problem is, and I would still probably make the dealer fix it.

Good idea with the level. I'm not planing on grinding anything and won't be happy if that ends up being the fix for the QA lever.

Bucket off use a level to check difference between platform and quick attach frame. Also check to see if there is a twist in the quick attach because even though the bucket is a lot beefier, there art still wedge pins securing the two. My bucket is a little off level but not so much that when I scrape my parking pad it doesn't contact evenly enough to scrape clean when in the float position.

Check all tires for air pressure.

Uneven air pressure in rear tires will affect bucket but frt tire air pressure won't affect bucket level.

My B2620 FEL without a QA has been like that since new. The left side is off by about 1/2 inch. I did the tire air check and also thought that maybe the hydraulic fluid and pistons might take a while to equalize with some usage. A few weeks after the purchase, I brought it to the dealer's attention.....and just got the "dumb" look. Then I tried to reset all the FEL frame bolts, which is a lot of work because some are really hard to get a socket attached with some clearance to torque it.

Anyway, it is a little better after 2 1/2 years of use, but still not quite level. Using a FEL Piranha tooth bar has taken some of the wear off of the FEL edge.

Cheers,
Mike

Sorry guys it's been so cold here in the north east, 5degrees last night and the tractor is in a garage with no heat or lights. I did start the tractor and remove all the ice and snow from the storm two days ago out of my driveways. I looked the tractor over and it looks like the back right tire has a lot more are than the left. It looks like its going to warm up into the 30's this weekend so I will be able to check stuff then. The tractor has been starting up 123 in this extreme cold we have had this winter with no block heater. Thanks for the help so far, I will up date ASAP.
