Kubota M4 Utility Tractor Transmission Whine

More info it may be to the power steering bypass. Interesting for sure. I ran mine the other day but it was just light work with a set of pallet forks on my loader. No real noise until I shut it down when it made a bit of a whistle.

I need to mow a small field this week with my batwing so there will certainly be ample load to make some heat and the noise again. I’ll try to isolate with a video.

is this whine only when the tractor is in 4WD? has this only been noticed on the M4s, and not on the 7060s?
looking at both tractors but I liked the (rear remote, bigger cab & front tires, E-PTO) upgrades on the M4s

I have a 2018 M7060 HDC12 with loader and have experienced a similar hydraulic whine at times. Seems hitting the brakes or turning the steering wheel will stop it most of the time, some times only while using that function though, and sometimes it seems it only quits it when it decides to. It has done it since 2 hrs on the meter and now has 215 hrs. I have not spent much time trying to locate the source. I have wondered if it might be a line rubbing somewhere.
