kubota m4900 with loader
question is how do you use the float position on the loader ,it is a la1002 , I think you have to hold the lever foward and not let go ,my old ford I held the lever for a moment in that position then let go and it was in float, but the kubota seems different . am I right thanks

You should not have to hold the handle in the fully forward or float position. There should be a slight detent felt that holds the handle in the float position.

That is something that the dealer can and should fix for you if under warranty. Others have reported that disassembly, cleaning and lubricating of the loader control valve will overcome this problem. I need to do that to my B7800, but can't remember what was suggested for the lubrication of the valve.

Be sure to do this with the all pressure removed from the valve.
