First time it happened, the inner bead was all the way off the rim and wrapped over the steering knuckle. Big ol' tire iron got it back in place so I could get the wheel off. Couldn't get enough air flow from the compressor to seat the beads, so I confess to using starting fluid. All dressed up in heavy leather motorcycle riding gear, helmet, heavy gloves, ear plugs. Man, I hate doin' it that way, but it works.
This time was a little different. Impact gun to get the lug nuts off. The front end was supported on jack stands, so I can use the FEL to break the beads. Got a little tool to fish through the stem hole and guide the stem into place. Then a ratchet strap over each bead to get them to seat. Valve core out of the stem, too. The fishing tool I use is something
like this, but it's not this exact one. Where I got mine is lost in the mists of time...
