Kubota needs a logo

OK - so we all own Kubota tractors here - and love them...
We also know our neighbors with the "green" tractors buy a lot of other merchandise... and have a very familiar and recognizable logo...

What say you all to having some creative fun - if it were up to you and you could make Kubota have a logo - what would you make the Kubota logo look like?

Don't have one. But I sure wouldn't mind NOT seeing the Mahindra ads everytime I go to the main page. I guess they must pay some $$$ cuz they are always on the front page.

Kubota means little bull in japanese, so it seems to me the logo has to stay in the realm of the bull. Bull not ram! We dont want any confusion between the two. Ram = dodge bull = kubota. Start up kubota, pulverize dodge with loader, push dodge into ocean! Sorry in advance to you happy dodge owners, my experience with their product was awful!

Here is the "logo" that is on the front of my B7100. I was at my local Kubota dealer yesterday and in their fall sales flyer all the new tractors have a stylized K instead of the bull. I much prefer the older, earthier icon.

Agreed, I have the K on my 3030, the bull head is much better. Perhaps kubota will have a contest for a new bull logo, winner to receive a decent seat.

I know kubota's are expensive, but for what i demand of them and what they give me. They are worth every dime IMHO.

There have been several Kubota logos over the years - discussion here- the gear logo seems to have lasted quite a while - it's on many parts containers and company paperwork. But if you Google "Kubota Logo" images, it's mostly the block letter name with cutout letters.

we have the same tractor! My bull plate was cracked. I removed it. Glued and painted it. Was so proud. Put in the oven on 100 degrees for 1 minute to dry the glue. Stepped away and it melted the entire thing. I guess it wasn't 100 degrees. ****! Repainting my tractor now. Having a graphics guy do the stickers. If you want some, i'll give you his number. The B7100, Kubota and Diesel stickers on each side. Also he's going to try and get a plaque drawn with the Bull off your picture! I love my Kubota! **** right brake does not work but too much work to take off the roll bar etc to get to it. Oh well. later ,Tom

Yep, I loved my "little bulls". Both my old B7100 and then the B7300 had the bull on the front of the hood. Kinda miss that on my B3300. Anybody got a vinyl cutter? How about making up some bull logos. Just don't make it look like the Dodge Ram. Not that I've got anything against Dodge, in fact I have a '05 Hemi Ram Quad cab 4X4 and have had nothing but great luck with all the ram trucks I've owned. We just need to make sure the bull is recognized as a bull.

I agree that they need a visible logo. That broken letter thing they have now is almost unreadable unless you know what it is...JD gets alot of recognition just from their marketing, similar to Harley. I know people who live in condos that don't even own a push mower that wear JD hats.

I realy think the Fractured K is about as lame a logo as you could hope for. It implies pending failure or an inability to communicate or both.

The Li'l Bull is great. But what's with that dingle-dongle between the horns? Lose that and you've got a logo that translates well to tractor owners of all languages. Having an oddly Asian aspect is appropriate, IMHO, considering its origins.

Time to dig out The Metalcrafter's Bible, get a foundry set up and start crankin' them out.

OK, if we removed the slant from the eyes would that be better? Like Baby Grand said, remember it is an asian tractor; I have no problem with it. I bought one! Actually, I've bought 3 over the years.
