Kubota Newbie from NH

Hi, finally got my Kubota that I've wanted for years. It's not a good as I would have gotten had I won the lottery, but I think it will do the job, or at least most of the jobs. It's an old Kubota B5200D. Only 13 hp, but that's more than I had before! LOL!

Am awaiting the ROPS so I can drive it over all of my hills w/o killing or maiming myself. And I also need to redo my crushed stone driveway, so it will be a big help!

Good thinking on the rops. Nothing was worse than getting hurt. Stay smart, which means safe.

Welcome from just a tad north. I ski Crotched every weekend. Get yourself a grading/scraping blade (cheap on CL) and a landscape rake - you'll be able to knock out your driveway in no time!

I still regularily use my 12hp Kubota B4200. It has done an amazing ammount of work over the years with its little homemade FEL and Blade. Skidded lots of logs. Never had a ROPS on it and my property is pretty hilly in places. Tractor will beat the heck out of my back in the rough long before you would get up enough speed to be in danger.

Amazing what our "Little Bull" can pull with 13 Hp.

We were going to sell it after getting the B2320, but it's such a useful machine that we can't part with it.

Same with me, when I got the B3200 I figured I would sell the little one but it is so handy having the little one for pulling a trailer around and and old one (Massey) for going through the bush. Now I just need a bulldozer and an excavator.
