Kubota OEM top link bent

What bends them? In compression and buckle?
Somehow rear tires enters a dip and weight of tractor rests on implement (and through top link) because 3 point hitch parts don稚 rotate quick enough?

B series Kubota toplinks can be trashed by folding the ROPS down then fully raising a 3 point implement.

BX toplinks are shorter than most after market vendors make. Only found one place, Surplus Center. I think K OEM ones are soft. Bent two and bought no more. Same use parameters and no problems in over 1000 Hrs since. May they just look fake gold plated and are real gold after all as the price indicates.

I'm not really sure what bent it. Last thing o had on it was a 6' BEFCO land plane. ..But I may have backed into a tree /hen I was using the grapple to pick up stuff in the woods for my burn pile. If I had to guess.

I have bent them back, especially with that asian steel, it's pretty soft, compared to most of the others...

Straighten it, and you will have a spare.

I may try that. Probably need to put it in a vice and heat it a bit.

I had one fall out of the holder while the implement was off. It was long enough to reach the ground and got bent going backwards.

And that is why the toplink on the L3200 I recently sold had a silver TSC replacement instead of the Kubota Gray original:)

EDIT TO ADD: The locking lever was nicer than the factory hex nut setup. I should weld a tab on the nuts of my other toplinks. It's easier to have something to whack the tab. With the hex nut setup I often need to hold the barrel of the toplink to loosen the nut.

Few months back, was in the Kubota dealership and, while waiting for them to pull up my order, browsed the shelves of pins, etc. I was surprised to see a bin of top links for around $30. I don't recall a brand or anything. I picked one up and fooled with it, seemed good. Perhaps it was a not-Kubota brand or something.

I had a similar experience when the RH 3pt adjustable lift rod broke. Found an acceptable replacement at TSC.

Cost me over $1200 to replace my bent top link.

TNT for the WIN!
