Kubota or mahindra

I am wondering if I should take 30k out of my savings and give it to someone with excellent credit so they can pay me back $500 a month over 60 months. Just so I can say I "maintain" positive cash flow for the next 5 years.....nah....I think I'll keep my money

I would like to know some investors that will let me use their money for free. If they exist, they are not very smart.

Some dealers might would give you a cash price and then allow you to take advantage of a 0% deal but they will pay the interest for you up front to the bank. If you really pay cash they make a little more off the deal. They might would do that because most deals made with lending companies include a end of the year rebate to the dealer. They will make it as attractive as they can to take advantage of the rebates.

Most of them will offer a free loader for cash deals or conventional financing. But when 0% is on the table the free loader goes away. But that loader is still not really free as it is built into the price to begin with.

In my business, we get rebates from lenders all the time for bringing them business. We also get rebates from manufacturers. Some dealers will play the rebate game and sell product at ridiculously low margins and rely on the rebates for profits. This never works and these dealers go out of business with time.

Yep. My dealer pays the 0% fee.

I have a Kioti, the ergonomics work well for me (The kubota was not good). But the main factor is my choice was the dealer reputation. When you need service you want a dealer you can trust.

I’m thinking of a tractor upgrade. Want a cab, front loader, 40+ hp, and HST. Considering a Mahindra 40 hp or a Kubota MX5400. Both have plus benefits. No mowing but utility usage.
I currently have a cabless Kioti w loader, backhoe and forks.
Start with service - who will you call when it breaks? Go check them out before you buy. In my area John Deere or Kubota were my options. I went with Kubota since the 3 point hitch works better for my ground engaging gear. I've had it for 2 years now with no issues. Terrific machine - M7040.

I've been running a TYM 50HP CAB/HST since 2014. Features and price is why.. TYM is the same as Mahindra, except has a few extra features that the Mahindra doesn't have.. Rear Spools, Rear Wiper, Cruise, etc. I have zero complaints about this tractor.. The A/C blows cold, decent power, quick-tach, starts in cold weather, can handle 72" PTO attachments with ease. (Tiller, mower, etc.)
The HST is a benefit is you're doing bucket work.
Highly recommend.

over 20 years ago when comparing Kubota B7500 and the comparable John Deer and New Holland, the % of American built content was highest with the Kubota. I purchased with bucket and 52 inch woods tiller. Just passed 2,000 hours and I am not nice to this tractor. I use it on a 23 acre organic vegetable farm, solar and wind powered for 38 years, for hauling logs, tilling, digging gravel, etc. Temperature range from 15 below zero to 101 in summer and no problems. I am terrible with regular maintenance, but this machine just keeps on going. Obviously I am biased, however, Kubota makes a dependable, well made tractor. India made Mahindra? One of my 2 windmills is now made in India, I have one from USA and the mate, when that company sold is Indian made. Good quality no different from the American made tooling. I can vouch for Kubota.

Pity you are limiting your choice to these two but Kubota, would be my decision.

I've operated several Mahindra's owned by friend which all worked well, The problem came in with awful parts availability.
Kubota stands behind their produts

Andy
Two things that I love about my Kubotas:
1) Great parts availability supported by a great dealer, that in turn feels supported by Kubota.
2) I don't need the parts, the service, or the support because the tractor just keeps running flawlessly as the hour meter tracks the passing of the years.
