Kubota Orange Paint?

How well does it match??
I'm not sure it will match.
The can states New Kbota Orange, but I have a Kubota.
So if the name does not match, I assume the paint won't either.:confused2:

Picked up a can of "New Kubota Orange" today at TSC...problem is I don't know it is the old "New Kubota Orange" or the new "New Kubota Orange"
Also picked up a can of Valspar Autumn Crush which some say is the same paint...hope so cause its several dollars cheaper at Lowes than the NKO at TSC.

Was in a different Lowes on Sunday and thought I would take a look in the spray paint section. Two other Lowes stores I frequent didn't have any Valspar Autumn Crush, but this one did... ended up buying 4 of the 5 cans that were on the shelf.

Don't know if this is still an issue for any of you, but my local TSC has both Kbota Orange and New Kbota Orange paint in stock. Part number and labeling are exactly the same as before the mysterious disappearance.
And yes, I picked up a few cans, just in case....

I know a guy that has a connection with the paint supplier. Out of curiosity, I asked what was the reason for the recall and he called to get the scoop. Apparently, the problem was a simple paint color or viscosity problem and it was easier to recall everything than to have the individual stores try to sort through lot numbers and such. All the speculation about carcinogens, controlled chemicals, etc. are apparently unfounded. Once everything was pulled from the shelves, new stuff was shipped.

I painted my box scrapper this summer and when moving it hit my old grader blade scratched up the box blade I said bad words! anyway had some paint so it was a 70 degree day started to touch it up, color looked like it had to much yellow in it but it was the same paint I used Valspar from my local TSC so I thought, maybe after some of these paints sit they do change sometimes, not so still a light orange to much yellow so I got to looking I just painted this thing this summer and found an old can of spray I used for touch up after spraying with compressor, anyway these numbers on this Valspar paint are all different, my problem was apparently when I painted it this summer I used kubota orange but the can I found said New Kubota Orange and sure enough there was enough in the can to fix the color difference back to a dark orange like it was painted the first time. Now my question I call TSC they don't have any Kubota Orange marked New Kubota Orange I know I bought it there but they said they don't carry it! Number one why to they even make a Kubota paint that is more yellow looking than orange??? and why did they make the new kubota paint and now nobody has any? and for the third one why in the **** can't they make it the right color to begin with? I have been told AC makes an orange that matches great as does Rustoleum and some others WTF is up!

Regarding question 1 - Kubota made a subtle change in their paint shade, thus the need for 2 slightly different paints. And for question 3, Valspar's New Kbota Orange is about as perfect a match for my new Kubota's paint shade as one could hope for.

You'll have to go there and look for yourself, they have both shades of Kubota Orange. The original Kubota Orange and the New Kubota Orange.
The help in most "hardware" type places nowadays is poor..recently asked where the Pop Rivits were in either Lowes or Home Depot, forget which, and the employee actually said "What is a Pop Rivit?"

New Kubota orange is back on the shelf at my local TSC, but it is marked Kbota not Kubota, I havent bought any, I stocked up in the last "crisis", maybe was a bad idea.. reminds me of the toilet paper "crisis" many years ago. We sit around working ourselves up about these conspiricies, and they usually dont amount to anything.

It was also marked that way prior to the Great Disappearance of 2010.
I just bought (3) cans last month of the new Kubota color at TSC....Price increase a little but a lot of cans...

So, what ever happened to the paint...I was able to get a spray can of "New Kbota Orange" today at TSC...Does it really cause cancer???

I imagine anything will give you cancer if you get too much of it. Moderation and reasonableness is the answer, dude.
