Kubota pricing link doesn\'t works at Aldermans.com

http://www.aldermans.com/Kubota/kubotanew.html

This was a great website because it actually priced out all the Kubota tractors. Just noticed it wasn't working.

Kubota conspiracy to make them drop website pricing OR just a temporary computer glitch??

Really hope it comes back on line! It was very helpful!!

I sent them a message about it a couple of days ago and they responded with a message that the other Kubota dealers were having a fit and Kubota made them take the pricing off their website.

Re: Kubota pricing link doesn\'t works at Aldermans.com

That is complete BS. Kubota might as well put on there website that they don't care one bit if there customers get ripped off!!!

That alone is enough to make me go buy a John Deere tractor. At least they have guts enough to post their pricing.

That is complete crap!!

Deere posts list pricing, which is perfectly fine for a Kubota dealer to do as well. None of the tractor companies allow dealers to use retail pricing online, and in many instances in print.

Re: Kubota pricing link doesn\'t works at Aldermans.com

I agree and it is typical corporate..you know. I think Kubota is also the one that stopped dealers from selling online (must be face to face to complete sale). Kind of puts a bad taste for Kubota I feel.

I think some dealers (high priced ones) complained and not the low priced dealers. So in today's world, you have to please everyone.....In the end, it is the customers that get hurt.

Re: Kubota pricing link doesn\'t works at Aldermans.com

Essentially Kubota is actively conspiring with its dealers to make sure that its customers (that's us) can't get accurate or baseline pricing on its tractor lines. It is now a documented fact that they forced Alderman's to remove their pricing from their website (yes, Aldermans shows a couple tractor specials still- which don't break down the pricing, but this is a far far cry from showing us tractor component pricing). This is just plain horrible. I'm surprised that Kubota hasn't started trying to force TractorByNet to remove pricing posts. This leaves a terrible taste in my mouth. Kubota buyers beware!

Re: Kubota pricing link doesn\'t works at Aldermans.com

It is almost the same thing Bose equipment does and Weber grills do. All the prices are the same no matter where you go.

All aldermans would have to do is post the suggested retail and say or make up some logo like "We are XXX% below".

I am sure some greedy dealer whined and complained since his prices were sky high....The power of greed......Nothing like working with "the man".

since I've been shopping -

I can tell you the pricepoint variances are EXTREME from dealer to dealer in State - out of State doesn't matter - The thieves are now running the asylum... /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Re: Kubota pricing link doesn\'t works at Aldermans.com

My apologies fellas, but you've got this whole thread all wrong. Kubota does not care one bit if we post our prices online. I have never been contacted by anyone at Kubota about my website. One of the reasons I took it down was because there were several east and west coast dealers that called to say that our SALE prices were way too low. BUT! The main reason I took it down was because NONE of you folks were using the prices to buy from ME. You were using the information to shop my prices against your local dealer. Believe me, I have no problem with you folks shopping for your best price. But, since posting sale prices was not benefiting my dealership in any way, and because I was getting e-mails and phone calls from people who never intend to buy from ME, I took it down. I am too busy selling to my own local customers to spend my time assisting people who never intend to buy from me.
As far as you conspiracy theorist are concerned -- get a life! Kubota just wants to sell tractors. They don't care who buys what from where or at what price. The face-to-face clause in our contract is purely for show. No one enforces it and no one ever will.
Shop dealer first, price second and you will never go wrong.
