I am working with a friend to make an implement to attach to a FEL with a quick coupler. I called a local Kubota dealer to ask about purchasing the quick attach brackets to weld on the new implement and they stated these could not be purchased from Kubota and I would need to fabricate the parts. He didn't sound very sure and I am not sure that he understood exactly what I was asking. Does anyone know if the brackets are available from Kubota?

I just bought a set for a FEL LA1251A(on a M9000), part # was M1295.

May be able to help? Tell which tractor model & FEL.

I guess the tractor and model # would help! It's a m9000 with a LA1251A FEL. I'll call the parts dept with that part number.

While I have loader experts on the line, the loader came with a 72" bucket, while I just noticed the brochure gives an 84" wide bucket for the 9000. I have used the loader for about a week and it has a few scratches on it, should I try to exchange it for the wider bucket? Having attachments wider that the wheel width can limit maneuverability, so I guess it's a trade off.

Thanks

Here in Canada, all the M series above the MX5000 come with a Kubota badged ALO Quicke loader that uses a euro style tool carrier quick attach. You can buy the bucket side plates from Kubota or through the loader manufacturer. I don't think they carry bucket sides for the skid steer Q/A's though. I think you have to go to a bobcat dealer or the such for that.

Someone just posted a few days ago about a place online that sells them for 100$.

I have the 84" bucket. I don't feel that I can advise you, but I like mine. I am not sure I understand the maneuverability issue. For me, I don't get closer than a few inches of anything I am not willing to destroy. Six inches on one side just doesn't look very big from where I sit. 84" will most likely still be inside you wheel tracks. I think it would depend on the kind of work you do with your loader. I haven't encountered any situation where I needed a narrow bucket.... yet.

I attached a pic of a bracket on the tractor if you are interested. When I bought mine I had no idea what they would look like. They are very nice. I didn't like the price. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

I don't think Kubota does a good job of making info available about what is available for the tractor.
