Kubota RTV 1100C Cracked Fuel Tank

Got my Kubota RTV-X1100C recall notice today also. Have to take it to the dealer for fuel tank inspection and replacement if needed. It hasn't leaked any fuel to date but it sits in a heated garage and I baby it all the time.

Your recall notice will have your VIN number on it. Mine is 1739X. (I deleted the last digit) If your VIN is close to mine, the leak could be the same issue that I had. That's a good thing (I guess) as it amounts to just tightening up the radiator clamp.
If your clamp is loose as well, let me know as I need to let my dealer know about it. Kubota may need to do an additional recall on this issue along with the fuel tank problem.
FYI, My RTV is nearing 50 hours. The hose came off at about 30 hours.

My serial number is 2550 lower than yours so I doubt the two units were built very close together in time. Was your loose hose/clamp on the front radiator top or bottom connection??

It was the top connection, at the radiator. The bottom was tight.

Received my fuel tank notice yesterday. On the coolant leak there is a SB for clamp replacement. Dealer did mine, no more drip.

I called my dealer to tell him that it came off, and what I did to repair it so he could log it at the dealership. He never mentioned that there was any type of notice from Kubota about it.

Only know what I was told, and was told there was and it called for a different type of clamp replacement. All I truly know is I don't have a leak anymore...lol

Well, thanks for the info. I think I'd better put a new clamp on it as that may be the reason that it happened.
