Kubota RTV 900 can swim

curious how it ended up in the pond. From what I've read so far, your daughter parked it when she was done using it, but it was in neutral and the parking brake was off? so it rolled into the pond after she was done using it? Did she help you in getting it out and dealing with getting it working again?

I’d advise a more careful check of the fuel tank. I’d be surprised if it didn’t get water in it and all the water will settle to the bottom where the pickup is.

Well here is the latest update on the damage from the RTV swim. So far I replaced the ignition, starter, repaired the winch motor and the winch controls. The front CV joints had to be replaced (they started clanking but may not have been from the swim). Now it is in the shop for Kubota to do some repairs. All the rear wheel bearings, U-joints and front drive shaft U-joint and carrier bearing are bad and have to be replaced. I strongly suspect this was from the swim it took. Total estimate for this is $512.68. I didnt want to tackle that amount of work so I had local dealer do it. It has been there since Wednesday and no word from them as yet as to when it will be completed.
SO far over $850 not counting any of my labor time.

My family/friends and I 4wheel with caged buggies, mostly originating from Jeeps. We get into deep water a couple times a Summer. Requires diligence to touch everything that got wet and shouldn't.

Here's a pic of my Jeep sank in the river. Spent a couple nights in the shop drying everything out and changing fluids. Good as new.

I wonder if the boat trailer is still connected to the hitch?
