Kubota RTV Recall Notice

We just received one today. Called our dealer and they have the part ordered, will call and pick up our 500 4x4 to repair / replace when it's in. We've had NO problems with it at all either. Better safe than sorry I guess.

My in laws got the call from the dealer yesterday. Dealer told them not to drive it until the repair is done.

On mine the hinges on the hood were defective which could cause the hood to fly back when traveling, blocking your vision or injuring you.

This Recall in particular has nothing to do with the hood but actually the steering shaft shearing or breaking.

Just had the recall done on mine, looks like the new shaft is heat treated.

lol, my dealer said that Kubota isn't sending out the parts until the 1st of Feb nationwide and to wait on a call back when they start to arrive.... I guess that's not the case.

Our dealer fixed ours yesterday, so I would have to agree.
