Kubota Snowblower & Quick Hitch Availability

I purchased a new Kubota B2320 in September of this year. Along with the tractor and loader, I purchased a B2733A quick hitch, BX2763A hydraulic angle front blade, BX2750D snow blower, B2734 mid PTO kit, and BX2735 front half PTO. After telling the dealer to go ahead with the deal, he called and told me that he had the tractor and loader, but the other items would were on order. I was told that they would be delivered to the dealer on November 1st. I questioned the snow equipment not being immediately available, worried that it may be on back order and I would not get it this snow season. I was assured that I would come in and that I would have it by the first snow this season so that I can use it for snow removal.

Last week I called the dealer and asked if the rest of my equipment had come in yet. I was told no, it had not. When I pressed them for an idea as to when it would come in, I was told that they hoped soon. I called other dealers in my state and asked about blowers and quick hitches today and was told that they might see some in January, but they were not even sure that they would get them for this season. I am now kind of frustrated because I have bought and paid for the whole package already, as my dealer to me this is how they had to do it.

What have people heard about availability of these items? Any suggestions about how to handle this with my dealer? If I knew I could not get a blower this winter, I would have not purchased the tractor yet.

That front end stuff is not made by Kubota..a company out of Canada makes it and they also supply it to other color manufactures so hate to say it and I do say it to my customers, the line is long!
I would rather tell you up front then run into this same exact problem.

I was at a Kubota dealer last Friday and asked about blades and blowers and I was told he may not see any for some time. the dealer guy did say he heard some were sent to upstate NY but other than that, "good luck finding some".

Ugh. I was worried about the same thing with my machine, but the dealer had my quick hitch and blower on a pallet waiting for me to finish mowing for the season. Are all those items unavailable? I would ask for a loaner machine with a blower to get me by. You might also get them to loan you a rear blower for the time being.

Well, it is not looking good for my snow removal equipment. I am going to call the dealer and find out if they have any kind of idea or timeline from Kubota as to when my attachments may arrive. This seams silly that there are so many people waiting in line for these items and they can't really speed the process up at all.

Is it resonable for me to expect my dealer to provide me with some other tractor and blower on loan if they cannot get the parts for my tractor? How well does moving snow with a loader work? I have mostly asphalt residental driveways to plow this winter. Should I just try and make them take the machine back and shop for something else? It wories me that there is such a shortage of these blowers and quick hitches when there seems to be plenty of demand.

What ever you do do not turn it back in as you will simply lose in the end.

Another option is the rear snow blower with the auger following the tractor where you back into the snow and drop the blower and the forward travel pushes the snow into the auger and fan.

Pronovost is one canadian manufacturer with many dealers in the states, the chinese built snow blowers are something that would worry me period

Have you thought about a back blade or a skid steer sized snow pusher with the blades as last resort item? They are readily available with quick hitch-skid steer mounts.

Since your dealer has made promises that he may not be able to keep he should be willing to do some things to keep you happy in the meantime. I have a 3pt snow blower that I have used for years, way better than trying to clear snow with the FEL or a blade, IMO. Almost any 3pt blower that will pin up to your 3pt arms will work well enough.
Having said that, I am thinking about getting a front mount blower because moving a lot of snow going backwards is starting to bother my back and neck as I uhh, mature. If you are still fairly flexible then a couple of months blowing snow backwards will just make you appreciate the front mount more when it arrives.

Well, I talked to my dealer today and got the good news bad news story. The blower, quick hitch, and PTO parts came in today. They will be picking up the tractor tomorrow to put the blower and quick hitch parts on.

The bad news is that they probably won't see the blade this year. The story that I am getting is that Kubota buys the front end stuff from another company. The person at Kubota forgot to order the snow equipment for the year, and as a result snow equipment is in short supply. I am not really happy that I paid for a blade that I won't get. The dealer is going to call around and see if they can find a used blade from another dealer and purchase it and loan it to me until my blade comes in. My dealer said that he has a bunch of tractors with sold and delivered with the promise of snow equipment and they won't be getting anything this winter. It just really makes me upset that a company as large as Kubota would have such a screwed up system for sourcing their implements. Has anyone seen aftermarket blades to go onto quick hitches?

Hopefully all the parts are right and I at least get a blower this season.

I am really concerned I bought my front blade for my BX23 last year and finally saved enough for the blower. I talked to my local dealer and was told that I should be able to get my blower one week after paying for it. They had my blade in stock so didn't even think of the short supply thing. I am wondering is everyone having to wait several months for the blowers? I am in Michigan and thinking I should get my money back put it in the bank call several dealers and tell them I have cash to spend on a blower please call me when they get a blower.
What a bummer I really don't NEED a blower as much as want one but still these things are expensive the economy is in the tank, I never thought I would have to wait for one.
By the way anyone know what the difference is between the bx2750c and bx2750D?
