I have had a BX2750 front mounted snowblower for 3 seasons, now. It is, to say the least, a top notch performer. I also have a gravel drive and have never broken so much as a sheer bolt. Once the layer of ice is established, it is at your discretion to lower the shoes or not. A great thing about the Quick-Hitch front mount, is that you can lift the complete front end off the ground and scrap a concrete pad with the full weight of the tractor. Not to mention the Quick-Hitch places you in a position to exercise your right to acquire the sweeper or front blade.
With regard to availability, I understand Kubota only manufactures a certain number per season and if North American supply is depleted, you are SOL. When I bought mine in April or May of 2004, the snowblowers were depleted and, therefore, on order. I didn't see mine until the fall of that year. Odds are, if they are out now, they will not have stock until the manufacturing run begins, {I'm totally guessing here} at the end of summer or early fall.
I am looking at a used BX2750 blower for my BX2200 tractor. The seller says the included quick hitch is has 'p/n el2751' on it. Is this equivalent to the Kubota BX2751 quick hitch required for my tractor?? Any thoughts where I can get the BX2752 PTO shaft for less than brand new price? Thanks.
