kubota snowblowers

Re: Kubota snowblowers

That is not the case, and he has given me a good price on a new one. Not all snow blowers fit all tractors.... it is a matter of matching a particular snow blower model to a tractor model. If the snow blower that the other dealer is willing to part with is one that will fit my tractor and not one of the other four tractors that are waiting for snow blowers, then where is the "perceived scarcity"?? I wouldn't call you skeptical, but I would call you a "pessimist"!!!! Not all dealers are bad and I have found a particularly good one to deal with. Art has also given me a good price on a snowblower, but told me that he couldn't deliver until the spring. I accept that as fact.... you don't look for snow shovels during the snow storm, but before it starts to snow.. My timing is bad, to say the least, and I realize that. If I have to pay more to get it in the winter that is the cost of waiting till last minute.. If I buy it in the summer, the price will be lower. The same thing happens with home heating fuel in the winter and gasoline prices on holiday weekends.... the price goes up and you have a choice... buy or do with out!!!

Steve,

I finally had the opportunity to take pictures of the hydraulic rotator.

If you wouldn't mind, could you post the manufacture and the specs that are found on the data plate of the motor. Reason for asking to post here, is that I know that the info will always be here for when I misplace the information... thanks ....

Rick,
I also have a B2910 and have thought about getting a front mounted snowblower for it. However, I have heard that it is difficult and time consuming to mount the sub-frame and blower for the B2910. How time consuming is it to mount everything? Thanks....

littlediesel;
I have a L3830 with a front blower and it is not diffcult to mount. If you have a front grill guard it has to be remove and another bracket goes on in it place. Once the subframe is set up for your tractor it is set forever. Just drive over it, hook up 2 hyd. hoses, raise it and put in 2 pins in the front and slide the drawbar in and pin that and you are done.

I have a 60" front end blower on my b7800 Kubota. I can put it on and take it off in 15 minutes. It works great; lately though I've been going through some shear bolts, especially on the impellor. I am thinking that the heavy snow might be doing it or maybe the wrong bolts.
Great for a bad back!
