Im happy to report that kubota has improved the snowblowers big time. The new 28 series has a completely new subframe and cutting edge design.

I have a 7610 with a LA352 FEL and have not done my research on front mounted blowers yet - been kind of busy.

I was told that you could leave the sub-frame attached for the front mount blower on the B series and have the loader on as well (no blower of course, just the sub-frame. I did'nt believe the sales guy when he told me this it was at a fair and I was concerned he was just trying to tell me what I wanted to hear.

My Q for the kingoflawns is - does it look like the sub-frame can stay on with eh FEL attached?? I don't have a MMM so that isn't a concern and I understand that ground clearance will be less in the front - I don't need to tractor in the woods in the winter anyways. . . .

I have a 2910 with both blower and fel, and I can tell you that I am able to have the subframe and fel on at the same time.

Deeeeeetails? Anybody? I've need more info. How can I dream of owning this new improved blower without more to go on? /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

well mine wont fit a bx, but they do make one.

as for cost i recall the blower being about 4300 with sub frame, and now i can put on the blade and broom if i felt like buying them.

Not trying to be a wise guy, but for $4300 one can buy two snow throwers with electric start that can throw the snow 45-50 feet and not worry about installing on the tractor. If one didn't start, you could use the other one as backup.

Why is a tractor mounted snow blower better than 2 walk behind blowers? Answer: Because in some conditions a walk behind simply isn't up to the task! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I'll just sit in shirtsleeves in my heated cab to plow and salt my driveway and then watch others become frozen snowpersons with their walk-behinds. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I don't understand the pricing. I can buy a 36" walk behind with an engine on it for $600, so I would expect a 48" attachment to the tractor (that does not have an engine) to go for $800, but the Kubota one for my BX-22 seems to go for around $2500. Why?
