Kubota T1600

My father is looking at a T1600 for a really great price. He says he heard it run and drove it. But has no mower deck. I'm going to call the dealer (and stop by another at lunch). I had to Google it this morning, as I've never heard of this model. Looks like a a regular lawn tractor (not even garden tractor size), but diesel.

Couple questions:
- Reviews seem to be favorable. Apparently not a lot of manufactures make a little diesel lawn mower. Any one here with any experience? Good /Bad?
- They seem rare, which mean the deck will be hard to find. $$$. Any thoughts on where to get one besides a dealer?
