Has anyone used the tiller that kubota makes for the BX 1830 0r BX22? I'm wanting to get a tiller for my BX1830 but I'm not sure if the kubota tiller is the best route or not. any thoughts.

I have a Kubota tiller. It was priced low than list because it was a demo. I believe the price is high for a Kubota. You can get a KK for much less. Also check out the advertiser here on TBN. They list some good deals even with shipping.

I found a used TractorSupply brand 60" tiller that I use on my BX2230. Plenty of power in the motor to run tearing up turf even. I should add the motor in my BX2230 is same as the 2350's.

I wouldn't leave it sit with the tractor 3pt up though. It certainly give the hydraulics a work out.

Heard from the local dealer that there are lots of people that are running 60" tillers on their BX2230's.

Interesting,

I just called a rental place about a tiller and all they have is 60". The guy said I need 30hp tractor to run the tiller and my B1750 is only 20.

I never done this before, but I think I could be OK if I go in increments on the depth and maybe add some weight to the front.

What do you think?

you should be ok taking small bites. I also agree that the kubota tiller is pretty pricey for a chain drive tiller, I wonder if a ccm would work ok on it. does it have to be chain driven or can it be shaft all the way?
