Blake,
Thanks, its hard to get good pic,s that really show the area and what we have to do. I was talking to the customer today and we decided I will cut, chip, bury, trim and whatever else is needed to clean up the garbage trees on about 2/3 of a acre of woods. This is mostly at the end/below the road I built, down to the lake. We will have to do all this before I can do the gravel, power etc. The first thing I have to do is build a level area(40x40) below the road on the hill that can be used as a spot for a outdoor wood stove, ready for benches and rock seating. Then we have to find a spot to bury the stumps we dug out along the road and keep the natural appearance.Whenever we get it all done it should look awesome. I will post some pic's as it goes along.

The other day spent a few hours making the fireplace area. The area turned out to be more like 20x50 so far. We haven't decided if I should go further out towards the lake. Off to do a couple of other jobs for a few days and some time to think of what to do.

Biran,

Looks like a nice project! You had to put some thought into how and where to cut that road. It must feel good to see the plan come together... Looks like you're properly equipped for the job as well. Nice to see the 4300 being put to work!

Best wishes,

Jim

Jim,
Yes it is a nice project to work on. This is the type of job I love to do design, implement and modify as you go. The road was obvious to me from the start, but others had their doubts. The nice thing is it is not intrusive to the natural woods that surround this side of the lake. With both road and fireplace area above lake level they are almost not noticed from the lake. The proper placement/use of lighting, ground cover and grading will truly make the project shine. The L4300 has seen quite a bit of work this year mostly chipping and boxblading driveways.

With your knowledge and experience I have no doubt you would be able to do this job with your B7100. I would even say that if it was your property, that is just what you would be doing.

Nice job you did there and a lot of work to boot. You can tell how steep the hill is in the second photo by the angle of the trees.
