Kubota tractor/excavator project

Well have a couple of more pics of the ongoing project. We have spent a lot of time cutting trees, chipping and splitting in the last month. Finally have been able to get back to the drainage ditch and power supply. The first pic shows the ditch with the tech cable as well as the light line, which has conduit added for protection.

This pic gives you a view of the firepit area along with the amount of drop from the above road. We had to do quite a bit of excavating to get the area level and that size.

Finally got to the end of this project. We geotextiled all the road and fire-pit area then put between 3" and 8" of crusher dust on all, about 80 tons. Planted 60 plants on the two slopes with the timing of colours and locations to the seasons. The customer wants this to grow back in natural except for the plants therefore no mulch applied.

Fantastic job. Hard to equate the before pictures with the after pictures. Things have changed a lot. Looks really, really good.

Thanks very much for the compliment. The customer is happy and that was the main concern when starting the project. They were not sure what the end result would look like and were somewhat concerned. Now that it is finished they appear to be quite happy. By the way it was all done with the Kubota L4300 tractor and Kx91-3 excavator /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
