I think you are overly optimistic on fuel economy on your truck. I'm thinking more like 9 mpg towing upwards of 7000# plus wind drag.

And, how happy will your local dealer be if you need warranty service? Certainly, he has to honor the warranty, but you will not be first priority as customers that purchased from the dealer.

Well I was figuring 15 as an average. Would be empty and no trailer on way down so should get around 18, figured 10 on way back which is what I get pulling my camper which is 6400lbs empty so 7000+ loaded with water and gear... either way should be less than $500

Sounds like you’re convinced. lol

I will agree with the others, the trailer is crap. You won’t get 2 grand for it. The other implements are light duty, especially that box blade that will skip over the ground and not do anything except bend and twist out of shape. A package deal, is more of a “deal” for the seller...if your pickin up what I’m puttin down...

I say got to your local Kubota dealer. ;)

There is nothing wrong with a package deal - just do your homework.
Price each individual piece and compare.
Generally, package deals will have the bare minimum in terms of capability - but not always.
I bought a used package deal; the original owner was selling out. The tractor was a base model with R1 tires, no upgrades. A light duty Howse bushhog, and a very nice Woods Tiller. I don't recall the trailer make - but it was a heavy duty trailer rated well above the entire package weight. I sold the trailer to buy a different model more appropriate for what I needed.

Remember that Kubota usually has some sort of implement pairing incentive. That can allow you to perhaps build a package that suits your needs better than a collection of 12 series Landpride light duty tools.

With the packages they are giving the lowest end inplements. Yea its land pride but its a super lightweight brush hog and box blade. Id want those upgraded.

pretty simple price it out and go from there. Most states if they sell and deliver it out of state there is no tax, but chances are you, you would have to self report in your home state, not saying what I would do, but theres choices. Chances are if you show up in person and pick it up there you pay that states taxes.

As far towing whatever, go get it, your probably at 10-12mpg hauling that stuff maybe better if you get lucky. Everybody is a homer on local dealers, thats bunk. Go where the best deal is and enjoy

How can everyone comment on the package deal being "crap" without knowing what is in the specific package? No price or details are given. It may that the implements are just what OP needs. Then again, maybe not. Need more info

Some states require that the dealer meet you at the State line to deliver the equipment to you, otherwise you pay tax in that state and likely in your own state as well. You may choose not to pay in your state but it is generally required.
