kubota vs. kioti

I think I read this same post on a Dodge forum a while ago. Replace Kubota and Kioti with Dodge and Ford and it may be word for word. Even the Toyota reference.

I will agree that putting the HST response in a menu instead of a knob, does seem like a step backward, but perhaps they felt that most people just picked a response and stayed with it. At least you get to choose a response with the Kubota. Another example are the heat and air controls on my 2010 chevy silverado. Stupid up and down arrows for temp and fan speed.. It would have been a lot better to have a knob that you don't even really have to look at while driving down the road.

Typical Japanese 90s technology. Nice shoes!

NO. It was real. There people there that saw it pull it.

But I do believe that. But keep in mind, the tundra was modified to do that pull too.

I think the only modifications were 1700lbs in the bed and they lowered the tire pressure.

Do some people have problems with reading comprehension? To my knowledge, no tractor manufactures are making tractors with 10-15k rpm engines.
I'm just picking a bit and poking fun. Kubota actually makes a high quality product which is why they sell what they do. I was just reviewing the specs and the M series actually has larger displacement engines for their size which should produce good torque. I stand corrected! Now back to Ford or GM. Lol

My Cubota rig has 10% more horsepower than my brother's Kioti tractor but I doubt it can pull like the Kioti. Toque vs HP?

It does do what I want it to do though. :)

This was actually legit. This was happening back when I was on the Tundra Forums ...
It wasn't a long pull by any means, but it did actually happen.

300 yards across a bridge

Items Toyota failed to tell us: Went downhill on 2% grade with 30mph tailwind all while using 4x4 low range with transmission failing in middle of pull so they had to coast last 50 yards. :)

If you have all 4 wheels spinning, no matter who made it, it comes down to weight and tread design.

True.

A quick look out on Youtube shows that enough sport bikes got wrapped around trees and enough old, garden tractors are sitting around, that people are making some silly things out of the two.
