Well, looks like another postpone on delivery. The honeymoon must be wearing off, the edge on the disappointment is blunt this time. The Woods hoe is "supposed" to arrive this coming monday. Dealer says he will deliver tractor Tuesday, hoe or no hoe. Funny how times change, when I was looking to buy, not a soul around and it was a buyers market. Now, about a month later, the lot is emptying out. Glad I sealed the deal when I did. In case anyone is curios, I bought from Adams Tractor in Spokane, Washington- [adamstractorco.com] They are upfront with pricing, although the prices I see talked about are somewhat lower back east. I did not consider mail order on something like this.

I remember seeing something about those, still available, around here a year ago or so. Looked funky...

Bird,

My wife saw one of these demonstrated at the Texas state fair around 5-6 years ago when she was down visiting friends there. She tried to persuade me to get one for my truck, but I preferred to stay with the barter method -- friend of mine has a splitter and we had a couple of very large maples we had just taken down!

I grew up going around all kinds of farm shows. I have never ceased to be amazed by what a good production some of these guys put on with their contraptions - there's a new one every year. They are always interesting to watch.

Well, I finally got some pics up. The splitter worked great. I split a whole rack of wood with out breaking a sweat.[then the rack fell over, DOHHHH] I did have to remove it from the tractor, I could not keep the front end on the ground.

Paul, Your tractor looks just like my dad's Case 222. He has had it for about 27 years. Last year I had to get a short block for it. Still does the job for him.

Ya, these things are tanks. This one is a 224. It is the same as a 222, but with a 14hp motor. The 222 has a 12hp. Here is one more shot.

At last!! My L4610 arrived this afternoon. No hoe, but I can live without that for awhile. I got in 20 minutes of brushcutting before the rain got the best of me. It was sad to see my Case depart on the dealers trailor. Pictures tommorrow!
