The more information you give us, the more inclined we are to think about your issue.
The tractor is how old ?, how many hours on it? , used for ?, problem first noticed when you ?, this was after you ?
With none of the above info:
*dirt in radiator fins, * bad waterpump impeller, *loose fan belt, *bad thermostat, * blockage in radiator, * head gskt failure..etc.

Every summer I have to drain the 50/50 anti-freeze mixture out of my B7800 and put in just water. If I do not change it will run over into the red when I am cutting with the bush hog for more than an hour. As soon as I change out the anti-freeze I can run the bush hog all day and not go into the red. It does not cost much to try it.

Replace the radiator cap first. A non pressureized system will run hotter.

You can't be putting a 50/50 in or it would run cooler Straight antifreeze will probably boil over before water.
Water will boil over before properly mixed antifreeze.

All I can tell you is what the gauge tells me. When I drain the system in the summer and put in straight water, the gauge says that I am running cooler.
Like I said it does not cost much to try.
