DP gave me some solid advice when I purchased my 06 F250 diesel second hand. We do not agree on some things but those disagreements are always civil and above the belt.

I'm not.. not by a long shot.

if it does happen.. I'll be amazed...

I HOPE i'm wrong.. but suspect i'm not... :(

+1 AND there is no way that you can return the money to all the small job shops and bigger suppliers they shafted with some going out of business. They hurt Michigan and the U.S. badly. I have kept quiet about this but it is what it is. Kudos to Diamond for doing the same. CJ

He was pretty helpful when I was looking for my 2010 F250 Powerstroke. I also appreciate that like myself, he's owned a bunch of different vehicles. I dare say that I've owned more vehicles than anyone my age that I know by close to a factor of 2 and I would wager that Diamondpilot is probably similar. It's always nice to have someone who can relate.

Chris has long been one of my favorite posters on TBN, some time ago I was searching for info on the best way to hook up trailer lighting on my Lesabre and I posted a thread here, well he took the time to research and advise me on what I needed...I recall sending him a PM and letting him know he was one of the most informed guys here about towing..and now I am telling the rest of you the same thing...and I always enjoy his input about ANY subject. Thanks DP--you are appreciated here !!!

DP, just what do you fly? I'm guessing a Mistubishi MU300 or the Beechjet 400(A) - due to your username..

I flew them both. I was flying a MU300 Diamond at the time I joined this site. Now days I am flying a Sabre 65. I have also flown a C-525 CJ1+. Prior to getting into the jet world I flew many turbo props like the Pilatus PC-12, Piper Cheyenne III, Beech King Air B-200, Cessna Grand Caravan, Mitsubishi MU2, ect.

Do you fly?

Chris

Regardless of our opinions, Chris is always there to help and lend a kind word. He stands by his convictions and is always honest about them. That spells integrity to me.

He is a wealth of valuable info on many subjects and is quick to share it with anyone who needs it. The GM situation is ripe for debate - and rightly so. I don't have to agree with an opinion but realize that everyone is entitled to have one.

I agree..I hold back my manufacturer opinions for the most part...If he would only do the same on the GM side...Then we can discuss what is relevant..I get really turned off by his GM hatred.

Other than that, I find his observations very well researched and generally correct.
