L 5030

Can anyone advise what is reasonable to pay for
a L5030 new. i have never bought a kubota tractor
before. How much "high ball" is written into the kubota
dealer quoted price. I am being quoted $29900 for
a L5030 fully loaded with the loader Q/D skid steer,
attachment for the bucket ,AM/FM CD/WB/Fluid in tires/
Quick Detach/ everything but taxes, title, shipping, etc
What is a reasonable price? Please advise
Brian

Moser, That price sounds good. Are there any rebates going on now? 26K for the cab tractor and 4.5k for the loader, (LA853) are good prices to me. If you are going to spend 30K for a tractor you might as well get a few K more for options. Does your setup include R4 tires, heavy duty bucket, a bolt on edge, tooth bar, Hydraulic remotes (up to 3) and top and tilt - if you will be using a box blade? If not do a search on this site or ask your dealer about them and don't forget to have the dealer weld on at least one hook on the top center of your bucket. You might want to start up a new thread and tell us your intended use for the tractor, I'm sure we can find some more must have options that you might get a break on when you buy them with the tractor. If you fill out your info a little we will know what level of tractor knowledge you have and how much detail to give you. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I grew up on a dairy farm, but am debating between the L5030 for home and business personal use, but every time I turn around I have someone mentioning they could use me for some "small jobs" if I'm will to do some part time. This made me look at the L48, and still crunching the numbers. The hook on the bucket is a definate plus I would have forgotten about. I've been off the farm over 20 years and I would have forgotten. Any other tidbits would help. Thanks,
Brian

It includes everything you stated but the top and tilt...What is that? It also includes the front hydros so I can hydralically angle the snow blade.

Thanks,
Brian

$1 Sumac trees to bite the dust and be hauled to burn, regrade an 800 ft driveway with a hill every year from snow and ice and freeze and thaw damage. (Alot of shale and stone to scarify.) Push and scoop snow, (5 minutes from a pa/md ski resort.)

, I'm sure we can find some more must have options that you might get a break on when you buy them with the tractor. If you fill out your info a little we will know what level of tractor knowledge you have and how much detail to give you.
