L245DT $7900 GOOD?

Found a Kubota l245 DT with FEL, tiller and back blade for $7,900.
It's old and very used looking, owner says it runs fine, he bought new equipment. Meter says 325 hours, I'm guessing it flipped at least once!

I don't know much about the older model tractors, all my research has been on new units.
I don't have much time for repairing things. I plan to buy a Z turn mower for grass, the tractor as-is would do everything I need to do. What do you think about the price?

Sounds a little steep .Parts are availlable,thats not an issue. I would guess this a $5000-$6000 tractor depanding on condition.

I'm with Al Vanko on this - the 245 is a pretty small tractor to command that price unless it is pristine. I think for that money there are bigger or newer tractors to pick from.

I bought an L2201DT with out loader for $3700
It is the "grey" equivilant to the L245DT.Good unit .
I'll sell you mine if your interested. No loader though.

Hey, thanks for the input gentlemen. I thought it was a little steep. The unit looks pretty rough, the owner quoted the cost he paid for the loader and tiller as if their old, worn out condition would justify the cost....I'm thinking I'll pass and not even insult him with a low-ball offer.

I figured I'd offer about $4,500...for almost any unit with a loader that runs well. Heck, I could get a new Nortrac with a loader for about $8,500!
