Hello all,
I have a 2000 L2500DT that won't roll over?
I have good lights, glow plugs heat up all safety switches are by pasted.
I have good voltage at starter.

Wondering if it could be the key switch causing my trouble?

Thanks to all

I was going to ask how big a hill you were trying to roll it over on.

Is there any sound from the starter? Clicks or groans?

You are sure the seat or clutch safety switches are not causing the issue? If everything is by-passed and there is no sound at all from the starter, perhaps it has gone out?

If you can hot wire it successfully, then it's time for a new switch. Or you could do a quick continuity test to confirm your suspicion.

Thanks for all your replies I'm going to test out the starter today.
I'm also going to check the key switch out to see if there is any voltage when the key is in the start position?

Thanks Again Carl

Back again,

I tested the starter and key switch have 12 volts at key switch went turned to start.
If i jump starter from large to small terminal tractor rolls over.

I'm thinking problem might be in wiring harness ?
Anyone have ideas?

Thanks Carl

Most likely a failed safety switch. Bypass one at a time until you have joy.

After adjusting free clutch travel on my L225DT, I had the same problem. Had to glue a metal block on the clutch rod to complete circuit. Took me a while to figure that out.
