Not only those items, remember the exchange rate is really bad for Canadian's right now.
Today it is $1.33 Canadian to $1 US.
Great time for Americans to visit Canada, not good for Canadians to visit US.
A $20,000 Tractor in the US will cost a Canadian $26,600.
Then you start adding in the transportation and import fees/taxes.
Do all the math and research carefully before buying across the border.
Exactly - the duty and taxes to bring a new machine across is not worth it - on the other hand buying a used machine here and bringing it across is much less expensive as the tax and duties are based on the paperwork presented - but it needs to be realistic.
As you said - do math and research carefully.
