Can anyone help me with some information on a Kubota L280. I did find out that the L280 was last made in 1976. I am looking for manuals (parts/maintenace). I am in need of a steering box/shaft and a drag bar. Any help/information would be greatly appreciated.

Try looking here: http://www.ssbtractor.com/ I found the user manual, parts manual, and shop manual for my L175 at this site. Be prepared for a healthy price though! Good Luck!

I have a "I&T Shop Service" shop manual for my B7100 that covers a lot of the US model Kubota tractors that are close to what you have. I bought the manual from the local Kubota dealer. I don't remember the price right now, but I believe that it was in the $20 to $30 range. The "L" series coved by this manual are the

L175/L2210/L225/L225DT/L260

and in a separate section are the

L185/L235/L245/L275/L285/L295/L305/L345/L355 tractors.

Maybe someone can tell you which of the US model Kubotas is most similiar to yours. According to the specifications, the L275 is a 3 cylinder model with 23.42 PTO HP and the L285 is a 4 cylinder with 26.45 PTO hP They both have 8 forward speeds. The manuals do show a breakdown of the steering assembly. You should be able to get parts from Kubota for the US model equivalent.
