Just got back from the Kubota dealer. I put my L245Dt on the front lawn for sale and it lasted 1 day. I have 5 acres in the desert and 1 in the mountains. Like the Mid-mount PTO on the B2920. Hate the FEL. Love the L2800 for power and FEL. The prices were pretty good, L2800 w/FEL , Sunshade $ 15300. The B2920 FEL sunshade $ 13554. I have been reading posts for months. I'm leaning hard toward the L2800.
I have a 5 ft tiller, box blade. and a Cat 301 mini excavator which I may replace with the Kubota back hoe. Snow removal in the Mountains is why I'm even considering the B series.

A little more info on planned uses would be helpful.

Why not look at the B3200 or B3030/2630? Seems like a good middle ground.

I'd love to have Cat 301. I love my BH75, but if a mini excavator...

Thanks for the reply BW. I till only about 1/2 acre Garden, I grade my driveways about 700 ft. I have 3 acres of brush to mow. I also have a place in the moubtains with about a 100 foot hill of rocks and dirt that keeps creeping into my yard. Thats why I need the bigger FEL. We get about 10 feet of snow and I'm 50 ft off the main road, I wanted a front mount snowblower, but after hours of reading posts on this site, I can get by with a rear mount. I had the l245 and it was a great tractor. I had an older B series only 12.5 HST with BH tiller and FEL it was real small. I think Ive talked myself into the L2800. How does the $ 15300 price sound to you?

Oh by the way they had a 2630 new, but a 2006 w/no warranty. It was very sun damaged from sitting out in the desert for 4 years. The owner could not make the deal appealing enough, but it was my first choice.

Sounds to me like the L2800 is a good choice. My only thought is the L2800 will be much heavier to tow than the B2920.

Sorry I can't comment on the price. I bought my B2630 used. While I spec'd the L2800 and 2920, never got any prices and that was two years ago. But it sounds reasonable.

BTW, Welcome TBN!

I also look at the B's then purchase L2800 HST..more room in the seat, heavier, wider almost the same price as the B.

Only con so far,3 pt lever to close to seat, rubs on leg some times snags on jacket.

Notice the new L2800 offering extra hp for pto...decal on side of hood.

The B has more power than the L plus the L pulling more weight which gives L more traction but pulling more weight with small HP. I think you want the L and want others to agree with you that it's what you need. Get the L, it's what you want.

Those are both great prices. Both nice tractors... get the one you want.

I was expecting delivery of my L2800 today! The salesman called and said "there was a mix up in the price". "The price we gave you was the cash price, and I'm gonna need $ 400.00 for the sunshade".

I was filling out the loan paperwork when they gave me the $15300 quote.
Now the new mix up price is 16700. I'm not real happy. time to start a new tractor search.

Sarge,
That price sounded real low to me when I read it last night-but we are used to some high prices up in the Northeast. I was getting prices of 18,000 for a B2620 with FEL and MMM recently. Still that sound like a fishy deal
