I see there is a second line filter listed, but I've only seen one on the bottom of the modulate valve. I wonder where the other one is??? Maybe it's dirty and that's why it works for a few minutes then stops? I wish they would just show a pic of the whole valve body with all the pieces pulled out so you could tell if you had everything in the right place.

Still no progess... I tried running the tractor again today and it worked on and off for around 10 minutes then just stuck at 60 psi. So I guess it's not going to clear up on it's own... I wonder if my pump could be pulling air in the front seal and foaming the fluid to the GST to the point it hangs up?

Oh, I finally remembered to look at the hourmeter. It has just over 1500 hrs.

Well, I've fought it enough one part at a time, I'm pulling the whole GST back off! I should have some pics tonight.

Here's the pics. I started here, had to remove the rotary valve to get it off the side of the trans.

Still had lots of dirt in it!

And ready to go back on. Tomorrow.

Got it back on and it only worked a few times. I have the pump off now, figure I may as well go thru the rest of the system...

Yeah, you couldn't run fast enough to give me a trainload of Kubotas right now. :confused2:

Well, it's all been gone thru now. I tried it last night and it only shifted a handfull of times before it started acting up again. I added some more oil to it (filled it to the top of the sightglass this time and the bucket was all the way up). I tried it out today and it worked long enough to run around the yard and play with the grader blade in the driveway for a while. I won't say it's fixed, but it's the longest it's worked so far!!
