As I mentioned earlier to someone, I would take a picture of my TnT which is not from Kubota. While Kubotas neatly fits into the 3 slots above the 3 pt hitch lever, mine sits out in the open hoses exposed etc. It was less costly and for me, is actually in a little more conveniant location. Hi Rat...

Lord knows I've got a lot of backhoe work to do in the near future. I've got 170+ hours on the tractor doing other stuff already.

I wanted to ask what you used for a tilt cylinder. The dealer wants $340 just for the cylinder. I added a HTL myself about 50 tractor hours ago and don't know how I got along with out it.

I also need to another remote to the existing block as well.

I use the tilt cylinder for my boxblade. If I'm on a surface that I need to change the plane, ie., a level surface with a level tractor, I can tilt the box blade and develop another angle, useful cutting a ditch. If I'm on a slope, I can tilt the boxblade level and start getting the area cut level. The cylinders are pricey and have a good size bore and quite short stroke. There are also some folks who install double tilting cylinders on both links, but my experience with them is not only that I don't need two, but it can get cumbersome. Rat...

Mine is supplied by Gearmore, a West Coast company that pretty much as I understand is fairly territorial according to folks here on this board. I'm pretty sure many of their products are made by others for them to distribute to dealers. Check with folks like CCM? One of them supplies top link cylinders, perhaps a tilt cylinder is also available. I remember seeing them in the attachments section talking about tillers.

With about 50 hours on my L3830 HST I have come to the conclusion that I won't be filling the tires. Recently, I removed some old 3 sided sheds using the loader and box scraper. With the rippers all the way down, the tractor does pretty good. With the toothbar on the bucket, ripping the concrete footings out was a snap and no lifting the rear end off the ground. The L48 on the otherhand with twice the bucket capacity, filled tires and a couple thousand pounds more in weight would still come off the ground with the bucket curl. It's not so much that the LA 723 loader is weak but rather the L48 has a very strong loader. No doubt filling the rears would give more traction, but what I have is really quite adequate. If loader and boxscraping was the bulk of my work, I'd fill them. The majority of the time so far is mowing. For that reason I'll leave them empty. I know most folks like to load them, but I have to agree with 5030, it's not always needed.

Did I mention that this tractor just keeps getting smoother everytime I use it. It works miracles for putting my little 2 year old to sleep. 5 rides and 3 times now he has fallen asleep in my arms. It's pretty cool! Rat.
