Funny how the new cab versions have white stuff in the background this time of year

I just ticked over 100 hours today on my L3240HST (no cab). You're gonna love the HST plus.

BTW How much weight did you add on the wheels?

TalonDancer, I maxed out the weights, 3pr per side for a total of 240 lbs.

Texas Dodge, The BB weighs in at 850 lbs

I put 9.5 hrs on it this weekend moving dirt and the machine seems very well balanced and is working great

what horsepower is that thing. im looking at trading in my massey 261 with loader but i want to stay out of the M series price. but need to handle a 6' box blade and bush hog? with out grunting to bad.(if any) thanks

It's 32 HP, works OK with a 66" box blade (you can never have to much HP). For a 72" box blade you had better go up in the HP department.

I got to tell you, I sure do love my cab! No more freezing, roasting or eating dust for me.
All while listening to the radio or a CD...life is Good

Another plus of the cab is the increased weight which helps with traction.
Initially I had planned on getting the rear tires filled but with the weight of the cab, wheel weights and the LandPride box blade I've found that filling the rear tires isn't necessary. With the FEL at it's lifting capacity the rears stay well planted on the ground

With 46 hrs on the clock I've used the machine mainly for grading and moving dirt for my new shop and the 32 HP is fine for that application. It might be different story hooked up to a mowing deck in tall grass, something that I don't have a feel for.

You mean my tractor has just a little more HP than yours? Man your tractor looks way bigger than mine

The Grand L are definately a bigger frame than the economy version. They are heavier and have more hydraulic flow and 3 PT / loader capacities as well.

yea i figured that things wa around 50 horses. the m9000 is close teh my size rig but with 30 more hp. id like a m9000 series but the price is a little scary sense i want fwd and loader. (and maybe a cab )
