L3400 loader question

I have a L3400, 2008 model 4wd,,my question is will a la525 loader bolt onto this tractor,,the proper loader is a la463 but I have not been able to find one of these,,the 525 is designed for L2501 thru 3901 tractor,,the ounting brackets look the same,,any info will be appreciated

I doubt it would be an exact fit but it may be readily adaptable. You can probably take some measurements at the dealer if he has an L2501 and an LA525 in stock. There are also manufacturers of after market loaders such as Woods and Koyker.

I have a L3700 SU which is basically the same as your 3400. Mine has the 463 loader, and I was told at the time the 5 series loaders only difference was the curved lift arms. The mounts were the same and valve was the same. I think its rated for more lift by 100 or so lbs.

DH - The 525 should be fine according to Ansungusa.com

At least theirs does. I have it on my L3200 and it saved me a few grand over the 525.

The LA525 will fit no problem, it's the same tractor frame as my L2800 which has a LA463. It will also lift EXACTLY the same amount of weight. The only difference in the numbers is where the weight is measured from. The LA463 was measured from a more realistic location in the middle of the bucket (pretty sure) and the LA 524 (short lived) which then was turned into the LA525 which had it's lift capacity measured from the pins. It also help them make it seems like it can lift "more" but it was only a marketing thing to align with what John Deere was doing at the time.

Standard L frames have not changed since 2004... (possible even earlier but I don't know for sure...)
