Well the GREAT news is that the tractor is back home and fixed. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
Dropped it off today. They even went back to the place where I had it break and picked up the back hoe for me. Then delivered the whole unit to my parents house about 15 miles away.
I promised I would not mention the dealer till things were resolved, but there was nothing to resolve.
TOTAL repair under warranty. Didn't cost my parents a dime not even for the pick up and delivery.
Jennings Equipment in Puyallup Washington has my business for sure. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
Now we are going to have to discuss how to prevent this in the future with them.
This is a function of $$$. I don't expect them to just give us a new back hoe so we will have to sit down and figure out what kind of a deal they are willing to give us on the newer hoe or the stabilizer arms for the Great Bend.
The kit is available for this backhoe, but after seeing the Kubota one my dad and I are really more interested in going with the "right" one instead of fixing this one.
We are moving out to a 6 acre property here soon and I am going to be shopping for a one of the BX series tractors. Well not shopping just doing my homework as to what I need to buy. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
A guy has to have something to mow the lawn with, and you surely don't expect me to actually use a wheelbarrow in this day and age. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
Thanks for all the great info guys.
