That's great news, and is a fine example of how all dealers and manufacturers should behave.

Found one little snag last night.....
It seems we got charged for 34 quarts of hydraulic fluid on the 50 hour service.
Not sure on this, but I would have figured we would have had that covered in the repair.
Probably an oversite on the part of the service manager when he inputed the bill for the 50 hour we had done while the repair was going on.
Going to have to sort that out, but like I said I think it is an oversight on their part or a misunderstanding on mine.

Either way I am sure it will be resolved.

Just glad the machine is back. I used it last night for a few minutes in leiu of a ladder. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

By all means point them here if you like.
I think it is good for a dealer to see how the customer feels after the fact. It can only improve your relationships with your customers.

Well, figure you would have had to replace that fluid as part of the 50 hr service anyway so it is appropriate to pay for it. Unless you wanted them to put the used fluid back which was essentially worn out whether the breakage occured or not. I think it is right to be charged for the fluid.

I just recycled the nearly 8 gallons I drained while doing a 50 hr service on mine. Lots of oil that seems perfectly good to the eye.

It should be covered under warranty if it was part of the authorized repair. It is in the warranty info guide.
