Tires L3400 Rear Wheel Bolts - Left or Right Thread?

They are metric 16x1.50 and should be torqued at 160 ftlbs. They may have been overtightened and also have a lock washer.

I'm taking off the loaded rear wheels for the first time and I've a plan to get them back on again (I hope).

I hope you have help! I took my R-1's off a few years ago to space them out further, and it took three guys just to pick up a little & spin them to get the bolts back in. Good luck!

I did not like the bolts on mine. I went to the dealer and bought 8 more studs and nuts. Now it is like a truck and line up is a lot easier in my opinion.

Got one of them off finally.

Yep 16mm (x30). Signs of locktight. I guess I'll buy some spares.

Thanks again for the help.
