L3410 - Orchard work

Hi,

I have been shopping for a new compact tractor for several months...besides not wanting to part with the kind of money a new tractor costs, I can't decide what I should have. I have a 10 acre property with approx. 4 acres of apple trees planted. Hope to expand slightly upon retirement or venture into other fruit or vegatables. Need to mow orchard, blow snow (lots of it some winters!) and perhaps one day move to a small airblast sprayer. I would appreciate any and all comments from anyone in a similar situation. I am getting close to biting the bullet on a L3410HST.....

The 3410 is a nice rig. Personally I'd get it with HST transmission and FEL. Another option is an offset mower to reach under branches. Do you have a market for more apples?? There's not much money in them, I'm taking a lot of apple trees out and considering putting something else in.
