Thanks Mike!
I'd sure like to see a picture of your setup. Looking forward to it.

Would like to see a picture Mike. I have the Kubota version on my L48 with 3 remotes all of which get used quite heavily. Since I don't use a hoe, I was able to custom mount it any way I wanted and not worry about the hoe interference. Curious to see your setup. I plan on downsizing to a smaller tractor but want to take the TnT with me. I particularly like the control valves that Kubota supplied. I used the L48 to move massive amounts of dirt by cutting with a box blade and moving about 1500 yards with the loader to another portion of our property. The L48 was SUPER, Rat...

Hello everyone. I read about someone saying how touchy the hoe controls were. Are all the L35's like that or is just the particular machine? Becaue the case backhoe I drive is so dang touchy, but my boss's backhoe isn't. I was just curious. Also, someone mentioned lifting the backhoe up off the ground. Doesn't the hoe really make things jerky? Or is the hoe not too terribly heavy. Because I know that sometimes when I need to lift my backhoe off the ground about 6 plus inches, it get's really jerky and it's kind of annoying. I don't really know what the weight of an L35's hoe is, and if it makes a difference. Just curious.

I have an L35 backhoe and the controls are also very touchy. You just get acustomed to it. It kinda separates the men from the boys when using the backhoe.

The backhoe of an L35 weighs about 1500 lbs.

<font color=blue>if you use the backhoe line for the rear remotes do you lose the 3 pt. I thought the push pull lever on the back disabled/enabled either the 3 pt or the backhoe hydraulics.

Sorry about not answering sooner tab, just now saw your question when the thread got resurrected.

No, you don't loose the 3pt. IIRC, you loose hydraulics to the 3pt when the push/pull lever is in the backhoe position, but when the lever is in the 3pt position you still have power to the hoe circuit. In fact, I seem to remember once forgetting to put the lever in the backhoe position, and the backhoe still worked. The owner's manual just says you will overheat the hydraulics if the hoe is used with the lever in the 3pt position, but I didn't operate it for more then a minute or so before noticing the incorrect setting, so I didn't notice any overheating.

HTH,
Dave

Just got back from buying a digital camera, all I need to do is figure out how to use it and get the picture to this post! Will try to have one posted by 11/30/02.

Oh, so it seems all are like that? Why is it that they do that? I'm used to my touchy controls on my case backhoe. Although, if I start to really concentrate on what I'm doing, you'll see it because when I swing the boom, it swings fast (but when I'm around things that I can't afford to it, I awlays keep myself from concentrating too hard)! :) It's mostly the swinging of the hoe that is really touchy on my backhoe. It does get a little annoying though.

Try a seperate operation while you are swinging the boom. Such as extending the boom or curling the bucket. This robs part of the hydraulic pressure that would normally all be going to just the one operation and will slow the swing down some. Think of it as your hand and arm, you can move multiple joints at the same time. Once you get multiple operations down, the rest will smooth out with practice.
