L3710 and Woods9000 Backhoe - Adding a Thumb

Looking to add a thumb to my L3710. Prefer hydraulic, but a manual one is fine. I've got a Hobart 180 220v welder on mixed gas, so I'm fine with welding.

The Woods9000 backhoe runs off its own hydraulics from the rear PTO. Where would I be tying into to get the thumb going? I'm going to have to get another lever, correct? I understand about 10% of hydraulics. I did setup the 3rd function on the front to angle the snow plow from EA and that's about it. There a kit or anything that I could get to tie into the hydraulics? I'm thinking I'm going to have to go with a manual kit.

Kubota uses a foot lever to activate the valve for the thumb ,Yes you need a valve and tie it in with the rest of them..........

I see Kubota backhoes, but nothing for Woods9000. Not exactly sure what search parameters I need to be looking up.

I'm poking around and found this:

But that's for a mechanical one.

I may just end up going with a Titan Attachments weld on setup. Think that's going to be the most straightforward way.

I'm just lost as to where I'd tie into. Without any plug and play, hydraulics are totally not my wheelhouse.

Woods shows it as a option for a hyd thumb, So call the dealer and ask them how much money .....

mmk. shipped them an email. See what it would take/cost.

The Titan manual setup is going to be ~$300 which is fine. If I'm going to be creeping over $1000 on this, I'll probably just stick with the manual. We'll see.

I'm fine with the welding. But I cannot explain how terrible I am at hydraulics. I get so lost. I've had my attempts a few times and its only miserably. The worst was setting up full hydro in a custom 4x4 buggy. I lost my shirt trying to figure all that crap out. The Third Function from EA was great though. Just plug an play.

I'm going to see what those two places have to say. I have a rising suspicion I'll be going with a manual though. Which, I guess, is better than nothing.

I don't think you have to weld the brackets should be on the hoe already....
