Hello. I need to change the oil in my L3710. I haven't had it too long and have never changed it since I got it used. Does anybody know the correct filter and oil type/amount to purchase? Also... anybody have any tips on changing them?

Thanks much!!

I own an L3710, I've never changed anything yet as I bought it used after the 50 hr service and havn't put many hrs.
Check out this page on the Kubota web site. I think it will have what you need. I also am a manual nut. I have the repair manual and owners manuals so if you need any more info just PM me. Good Luck

Engine oil requires 2 gallons to change. I think the manual specs 30 weight diesel rated oil but since that can be difficult to find, most folks just use 15W-40 or 5W-40 synthetic. The Kubota parts counter at your local dealer can sell you the correct OEM filter or you can find a NAPA/Wix filter in their listings.
