Tires L3710, reducing width of rear tires

does your center disc NOT unbolt from your rims? My 3710 HST rims come apart like that AND the rims also have two lug tangs for each lug position. Thus at least 6 potential width adjustment choices.

If all you are going to do is spin the discs around (convex to concave), you should not need to remove both tires at once. I cannot see disc/rim lugs in your picture, so perhaps that is what I am missing. If you don't have them, then yes, the only width adjustment you have is to reverse the discs

If you have HST, get the wider snowblower. I have an L3710 and have run a 78" blower with no issues for the past 10 years.

He can accomplish this by removing both wheels and tires as a unit. and swapping them left to right and right to left. without taking the disk off the rim. This will give him the narrowest possible setting, may be too narrow. When mounting L to R and R to L he also needs to turn them around so the tread is still in the right direction. But no need to separate the disk from the rim for this setting. KennyV

Thanks everyone for the advice, I'm glad I posted because you all provided a lot of necessary info. I ended up taking one tire off at a time, unbolting the inner dish and flipping it around. I tried switching tires from side to side but they came in too much and there was no clearance. I've posted a couple of pics and as you can see I've already had it out to clear my driveway and street.

As far as the snowblower that I bought I went with the 60". Because this machine is a GST I'm going to buy a BX2660 HST next spring and this was the largest blower I could get to fit the 2660. This type of work really lends to an HST. I've already banged into a curb as I was trying to manipulate all of the controls needed (speed, direction, chute direction, blower height).

If the rim is unbolted from the dish and clocked 90 degrees, is there enough clearance to slide the lugs through to the other side, or must the dish be unbolted from the hub?

No, you have to take the hub off. Jack each side up and chock just off the ground. When remounting wheel put the right thickness of board under where wheel goes and roll it up on the board to slide onto the studs after you have adjusted the wheel to your liking.
