L3800 Deal or no deal?

I noticed that 2 out of 3 Kubota will take 12% off MSRP if you ask. I tried that with NH and Kioti and they showed me the door

Show me MSRP on a Kioti. They don't advertise it, ever.

I got my numbers from the dealer. He did say one odd thing after I told him Kubota's deal, he said he had to call Kioti Headquarters to see if THEY would lower the price. They said no too

That's crap. The Dealer sets his price not Kioti. The dealer does not advertise MSRP

I got a MSRP off of the dealer and he did discount it somewhat however he could not go 12% off. I do not know what part of what I wrote was crap, his actions? or the Headquarters? That is exactly how the negotiation went.

I had a similar experience with my local Kioti dealer who had teamed up with the next closest dealer as well. They would not discuss any 'deal' until after I had decided 100% on Kioti. They lost my business right there and then. I was a Kubota guy and decided to go back to them as they did 'deal' prior to final negotiations. Too bad as I think the Kioti tractors are nice but it's often the dealer (no matter the brand) that puts you off. Don't even talk to me about the NH dealer, he was a total idiot.

The nice part about my trip to the NH dealer was he saved me a ton of time by being an open idiot too. In and out in 10 minutes. The Kubota dealer won with easy financing with no loopholes. Every other dealer had some cash only deal with something free if I danced through the loopholes. If you needed financing the price was just too high. I could get the CK 20 for 389 for 60 months and I got the before mentioned L3200 for 441 for 60. The difference in price made the Kubota the Pick. The CK 35 was coming in at over 500 a month.

What I'm saying is Kioti does not publish a MSRP like JD or Kubota does as they don't have a Build your own either. The Dealer will give you a price and sometimes you can do better.

Exactly. When I made my last deal I certainly did not take the dealers first offer on the kioti or the trade in Kubota.

I agree. They never showed me anything in writing resembling an MSRP. He did tell me what it was and what incentives they offered and what he would sell it to me for. I looked back over his quote and it never had an MSRP. When I showed him the Kubota Quote he said he would have to talk to "Kioti" and get back to me and he did with a "no". So how do you like your DK 40? Looks like a wide stance from the picture.

Border line price fixing/antitrust issues there.
