L3800 Deal or no deal?

I'm trying to remember what exactly I paid for mine and if I do, I'll post back. Either way, with the loader and bushhog, I really wish I had a 20' trailer. I got a 16' and it is fine for box blade attached or tiller, but the bushog and FEL combo are difficult at best. If I had to do over, I'd have gone with a 20' trailer.

Okay, mine was like $26k. This included L3800HST 4X4, filled rear industrial tires, 66" QA bucket, heavy duty tooth bar on bucket, 5' Landpride bush hog, 58" reverse rotation Landpride Tiller, and Dirt Dog 72" box blade SBX72, and a used 16' tandem axle trailer. The difference in the trailer from new 18' that I was quoted to the used one they had was $1,100. The toothbar was 4 or 500 best I can recall and the tiller was like $2,800. Adding the trailer difference and subtracting the toothbar and tiller puts that on an even comparison of $23,800 to your quote of $22,000 for the same thing. I felt as if I got a pretty good deal, so if the attachments are comparable value that you will be getting and if that's a QA bucket and you get your wheels filled also, then I'd say you're getting a very good deal.

I got the gear drive L3800 4x4 with quik tach for 18.3 out the door on a cash deal. No frills but I wouldn't buy without the qt bucket and have since gotten forks for the front and bale spike. Nice to change in a min or two.

Gotta love that deal. Kubota is tough to beat for a straight deal

I was looking at up grading my B3200 TLB, and checking on a L3800 in North Louisiana, got a quote of $22,685 for Hyst. Loader, and R4's, and a $600 dollar rebate if financed. How ever the dealer advised that they cant get any more than they already have in stock, because of the change to tier 4 requirements.
